What do you mean you want FOUR tires?
This site exists to point out what a terrible car dealership Auburn’s Auto Pointe is. If you would like to send us your story about Auburn’s
Auto Pointe please feel free to use the e-mail link at the bottom of this page. This was by far one of the worst
experiences I have ever had with a dealer. Whatever you do don't buy a car from them.
First of all one of the car salesman played extremely friendly when I e-mailed them about my trade-in. I told
them what I would like to get on the car and he said that they should be able to get close to that. However, when I
was lured there (25 mile drive) they insulted me by lowballing me for 1/4 of what they told me originally. He also
told me over the phone that time wasn't a major issue even though they closed at 7:00PM because he lives close
to the dealership. However when it was about 6:30PM he started rushing me and telling me he wanted out of there
on time.
Also, the salesman were all extremely rude and crass even bantering back and forth sexual innuendo about
who was "hotter" Jessica Alba or Jessica Biel. One of the salesman thought it would be a good idea to throw a
basketball around and nailed one of their nice display models they have on the inside. (if you're wondering where
some of the dents come from).
And to make things worse the car that they sold me ended up having a nail in the tire that was obviously in
there for some time. I have no doubt in my mind that it got into the tire from all the construction they have going on
in that part of Auburn. When I first contacted them about this they played nice and acted like they would be able to
cover it for me. However, after telling me they would call me back twice and then never calling me I finally got a
hold of their finance guy "Adam" who did a complete 360 and was blunt and rude in telling me they wouldn't pay for the tire. Even though it was
obviously punctured before the car was sold. 3 of the tires were over filled to 40 PSI and 1 tire was at 12.5 psi. I checked and the tire lost about
2 psi a day which would mean the puncture would have happened about 2 weeks prior to me buying the car.
All in all a terrible experience - do yourself a favor and buy from someone else.
